The scheme makes it possible for money in dormant bank and building society accounts and beyond to be used to support specific causes including personal financial inclusion and capability.<\/p>\n<p>There are at least 17.5m people in the UK in financially vulnerable circumstances, who are poorly served or unfairly excluded from mainstream financial services.
