Experience & Expertise:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Proven track record of success in leadership in real estate, delivering large-scale projects in urban areas of comparable complexity.<\/li>\n
  • Experience of Executive and Board level reporting, including professional advice to Board members on the handling of sensitive policy issues and relationships.<\/li>\n
  • Proven track record of success in delivering complex land deals, with knowledge and experience of development viability.<\/li>\n
  • A proven track record in various forms of development delivery and financing (direct, joint venture, partnership), with experience across the public and private sector interface.<\/li>\n
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and a track record of delivering results against tight deadlines and stretching targets.<\/li>\n
  • Evidence of well-developed knowledge and understanding of the issues and opportunities facing the public\/private sectors in public sector procurement processes and relevant legislative frameworks.<\/li>\n
  • Significant experience of effectively advising on the delivery of major development and regeneration strategies, comparable to those within the Olympic Park.<\/li>\n
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with a complex range of stakeholders under intense media and public scrutiny.<\/li>\n
  • Broad knowledge of and commitment to the business objectives relating to financial control, competitive tendering, safety, quality, health and environmental matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Ability to think and act strategically; able to respond quickly to changing complex circumstances whilst maintaining a clear view of overall priorities.<\/li>\n
    • Highly developed oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with a wide range of audiences.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to promote and articulate the key priorities for the Legacy Corporation, communicating high-level vision and broad objectives into clear and concise messages under intense media and public pressure.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to propose, develop and implement strategies in pursuit of agreed goals, exercising independent delegated judgement and authority and making clear, informed, appropriate, pragmatic and timely decisions within a highly pressurised environment.<\/li>\n
    • Highly developed interpersonal and team working skills, and a proven ability to form partnerships, motivate, enthuse and drive individuals in the creation of an evolved organisation and their application at an operational and strategic level.<\/li>\n
    • An ability to effectively operate at all levels, generating confidence and respect at all levels with a diverse range of individuals, organisations and communities.<\/li>\n
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills to influence decision-makers and stakeholders at the highest level.<\/li>\n
    • A highly sophisticated appreciation of how to work effectively at the public\/private interface.<\/li>\n
    • Proven ability, at the strategic level, to manage budgets, projects and programmes of work to defined, agreed targets and priorities.<\/li>\n
    • Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject are or equivalent by experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
