Person Specification

We welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds and with different experiences. We believe that the post holder will need the following attributes to successfully flourish in the role:

  • Experience as a Chief Technology and Operating Officer or similar senior strategic operations/service leadership role in a complex customer focussed organisation with emphasis on service delivery through exemplary commercial relationship management and oversight of strategic outsourced arrangements.
  • Ability to lead the transformation and integration of technology infrastructure and data management practices to ensure they align with a customer centric, data led organisation and our regulatory requirements.
  • Leading, delivering and centrally governing change across an organisation of similar scale and scope in a growth environment.
  • Having sound commercial and financial acumen, with an understanding of what makes a successful and sustainable business, and understanding key commercial drivers e.g., costs, profits, markets and added value, as well as thinking holistically about the customer (internal and external).
  • Being able to work across the most senior levels in an organisation to drive strategic business outcomes, contributing ideas and delivering results beyond the specific functional remit will be key.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build effective working relationships with stakeholders and influence at all levels within an organisation as well as external stakeholders including partners, suppliers and customers.
  • Able to lead a diverse team and can excel at operational functional management, building capability and developing high performing teams whilst balancing this with wider organisational leadership responsibilities.
  • Can maintain a focus on delivery at pace and through others, able to bring personal resilience and tenacity to the role.
