The Mayor of London\u2019s consent must be obtained to the appointment by the OPDC of a Chief Executive.\u00a0 Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by a selection panel which will include the current Chair, Board members and a representative of the Mayor of London; the panel will make a recommendation for appointment.<\/p>\n<p>The GLA Group promotes an equal opportunities policy. Appointments are made on merit, following a fair and transparent process.<\/p>\n<h2>Managing Conflicts of Interest<\/h2>\n<p class=\"elementtoproof\">Candidates should state any potential for conflicts of interest in their application, and this will be explored with short-listed candidates at interview.
