The Candidate

We welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and sets of experiences. Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate the following attributes

  • Strong track record of leading procurement services delivery in a regulated environment (ideally public sector), including frameworks, call-offs, bespoke procurement and end-to-end procurement solutions.
  • Deep understanding of procurement governance, risk and compliance, including the implementation and practical application of the Procurement Act 2023 and associated regulatory reforms, alongside experience of developing and delivering meaningful social value outcomes.
  • Experience of delivering services that drive utilisation, value and sustainable income growth.
  • Strong commercial and financial management, underpinned by data, reporting, management information and the effective use of systems to drive insight and performance.
  • Able to operate as a senior leader within the organisation, with accountability for a key function while contributing to cross-organisational strategy, goals and initiatives at Director level.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted  and highly effective relationships with senior stakeholders both externally and internally.
  • MCIPS qualified.
